DISTURBED Officially Confirm European Tour Postponement
February 17, 2006DISTURBED's management has released a statement officially confirming the postponement of the group's previously announced European tour (as first reported by BLABBERMOUTH.NET on Feb. 15). The statement reads as follows:
"DISTURBED have been forced to postpone their upcoming international tour dates as vocalist David Draiman has suffered a recurrence of the severe inflammation of the vocal chords that he originally suffered last year.
"Having returned to the live arena too soon after his last vocal problems, recent dates of DISTURBED's North American tour have taken their toll on Draiman's voice and he has been advised by his doctor to take an extended break to ensure a complete recovery. As a result, all European dates have been rescheduled for September."
DISTURBED are slated to stay on the road in the U.S. through February 24 in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. Support on the rescheduled European tour will still come from Seattle's NEVERMORE.
